Echo Echo Dance Theatre Venue

Khayaal Theatre presented a Collection of Muslim Heritage Tales from a range of Arab countries as part of our Festival of Theatre for Social Change. The one hour bilingual (Arabic and English) performance was presented by Alia Alzougbi who is a Lebanese-Syrian storyteller, actor and artist-educator. She is particularly interested in stories from the Arab and Muslim traditions that seek to answer our most urgent existential questions through wisdom, humour and unexpected twists. She told the tales of ‘Waseela’, ‘Little Red Riding Hijab’ and ‘Sabira’.
