Don't Say A Word nominated for Award at Edinburgh Festival Fringe!
'Don't Say A Word' written and performed by Patricia Byrne and directed by Shauna Kelpie is a gripping one woman play which tackles the theme of domestic violence. First produced by Sole Purpose Productions in 2004 it was extensively researched in association with Foyle Women¹s Aid, The Probation Board for Northern Ireland and the Police Service of Northern Ireland Domestic Violence Unit. It has been touring for four years, playing to theatres and other performance venues across Ireland. It will be staged at this years Edinburgh Festival Fringe and has been nominated for the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award 2008 in association with The Big Issue.
